Also known as AIM, this is an organization or union founded to focus on Native Americans. Began in the summer of 1968. Led by Native American activists George Mitchell, Dennis Banks, and Clyde Bellecourt. Created as a result of their frustration due to the numerous racism and unjust work-related issues.
